EarthX 2023 Sustainability Pledge

I WILL responsibly dispose of waste materials at home by recycling or composting in accordance with my local municipal guidelines.

I WILL eliminate single-use products from my home (like plastic zip lock bags, coffee cups, straws, and water bottles) as much as possible.

I WILL reduce my personal carbon, water and energy footprint by opting for meat and dairy free food choices at least once during the virtual conference.

I WILL save energy by taking actions like turning off lights and electronics not in use, utilizing natural light, and/or opening the windows for natural ventilation.

I WILL use the TRUE at-home waste audit guide to conduct an assessment of my household waste at least once during EarthX to understand better how to change my consumption behaviors and reduce my personal waste footprint.

I WILL go paperless by choosing to receive correspondence by email, moving to paperless billing and only printing documents if necessary.

I WILL donate unused items in my household like clothing, toys, household products, etc.

I WILL work to drive less and walk or bike more to destinations that are close by.

I WILL be conscious of my mental health, and be sure to take a break, take a deep breath and hydrate!
