A Maryland-based nonprofit committed to ending hunger and poverty in sub-Saharan Africa, Trees for the Future is empowering rural communities around the globe to take action to protect the environment. Trees for the Future focuses on seed distribution, agroforestry training, and technicalassistance in Cameroon, Kenya, Senegal, Uganda, and Tanzania.

This year with the help of EarthX, Trees for the Future will plant 27,000 trees around the world. EarthX attendees helped plant 5,000 trees by buying gala tickets and an additional 22,000 trees by completing a scavenger hunt.
