Pollination produces nearly $20,000,000,000 worth of products annually in The United States and more than 1/3 of the food we eat requires pollinators to grow. Needless to say, we need their help and they need ours…
All pollinators need our help! Everyday folks learn how they can make a substantial impact in the environment by promoting pollinator health & habitat at home and by generating greater awareness to the leadership in each of their cities.
1.) Sign The Pledge at EarthX during the event and receive your native nectar seed packet. Help plant their food (Native Nectar Flowers!) so they can help our food GROW!
2.) Check out fun examples of different planters while on-site and plant your new pollinator habitat once you get home.
3.) Upload a picture of your new habitat (we want to see the dirt!) and don’t forget to tag #BEETHECHANGE
4.) Update your photos as you grow and join our "Nectar Connector" online community of passionate experts and advocates. Ask the experts for advice and don’t forget to celebrate National Pollinator Week on June 19-25!
We will collect all of your signatures and send formal letters to the leadership of every city represented to encourage expanded pollinator habitat in your city!
